The newly formed Malaysian chapter held it’s first general meeting and get together on 3 October 2024. The chapter held another gathering in George Town Penang on 27 February 2025 inside the UNESCO George Town World Heritage Site and the Penang Hill Biosphere Reserve.
A second gathering by the Malaysia Chapter was held at the UNESCO George Town World Heritage Site and the Penang Hill Biosphere Reserve in Penangin February 2025. Members were treated to walking tours of the heritage sites led by Eustace A. Nonis, an ADB veteran of Penang heritage.
