ADB Security Guidelines for Entering ADB and for Parking

ADB Security’s current rules for retirees entering the ADB compound and building and for parking.

During weekdays except for ADB Holidays

  1. Retirees can enter the ADB compound and use short-term parking on a first come-first served, for a maximum of 2 hours. The short-term parking area is at the internal driveway at the back of the Commissary.
  2. If no short-term parking is available, Retirees can park at the UPark next to Podium.
  3. Retirees may be dropped off at the Main Lobby entering through the ADB Avenue Gate, but pick up must be outside the Visitors Registration Centers (VRCs).
  4. Self-driven vehicles of Retirees may enter any of the 3 vehicular gates at ADB Avenue, Bank Drive and Guadix.
  5. Self-driven Retirees may enter the building using the inspection lanes at the primary entry point at ADB Avenue, the Westcore entrance and Commissary entrance.
  6. During weekends and ADB Holidays, self-driven Retirees may park inside the ADB compound.
  7. Retirees should apply for a new smart ID to avoid any delay in entering the HQ.
  8. Retirees are limited to ground, first floor, and BPMSD on the second floor.
  9. Upon entering ADB HQ, Retirees are declaring that at the moment of entering the building: (i) they are not experiencing any COVID-19 related symptoms, (ii) they are not identified as a close contact (see Medical Screening Guidelines for definition), and (iii) they are not undergoing isolation or quarantine related to COVID-19.

During weekdends and ADB Holidays

  1. For a vehicle to enter ADB, one occupant must have a Retiree ID.
  2. Vehicles may enter via the Gaudix and Bank Drive gates.
  3. Guards will inspect the car and occupants as necessary.
  4. Only the person with a Retiree ID will be allowed in the HQ buildings. However, if a Retiree has mobility issues, a companion may enter with the Retiree to access an ATM in the building; security will escort you.
  5. Companions must be accompanied by the Retiree when reentering ADB to a parked vehicle.
